Probation Revocation

Probation Revocation : You were put on probation for a criminal offense, and subsequently violated the terms of the probation. In this situation, you will have a warrant put out for your arrest, and a motion to revoke probation will be filed with the court which put you on probation. Depending on the circumstances our office might be able to provide you with a “walk through.” During this process and under limited circumstances you may be able to simply be booked and released. This is possible because our office will complete the work processing the bond prior to your “surrender.” Therefore, when you turn yourself in, we will be with you, with the paperwork to ensure your release. Once the Travis County Jail has processed your paperwork is processed and completed the booking process you will be released. During this process a court date is set to hear the motion to revoke probation. The court that put you on probation will also hear the motion to revoke probation.
