The Travis County Jail (TCJ) is located at 500 W. 10th Street Austin, Texas 78701. The Phone number is 854-9033. The city of Austin (Travis County) has two jail facilities. The 10th street facility is located in downtown Austin, and is generally where the “arrested person” is booked to the Austin (Travis County) Jail. Once booked into the Austin (Travis County) Jail the inmate is allowed the use of the phone to call bail bonds person, attorneys, lawyers, or loved ones.
